When you think of Istanbul you think F1. But a new appreciation for this track has been had for the LMP Series. We saw some of the best in class racing ever. The LMP 2 class was especially competitive at the venue with Gary Redshaw, James Bowders, Bob Roberson, Susan Boyle, Alex Estabridis and Nick Picciotto.

We also welcomed back Jim Nasella at Istanbul

Something new...The Season Opener with a 3:00 am start time. The 09 - 10 Season Opener did not disappoint. Sandy was off at the start but had Brent hounding him lap after lap until a computer glitch put him out of the hunt for the win. Terry Vreeland was tops in LMP2, running quick consistent laps and a great pit strategy to win it. Starting at dawn made it interesting for tire selection and line sighting.
