The PORRS crew had some questions for musical performer.

PORRS: Besides Sim Racing what do you do to unwind?

Terry: Music! I'm part of an acoustic Duo/Trio, playing guitar and dobro as well as lead and harmony vocals. See trough.com or Tim Tedrow and Terry Vreeland on YouTube...

PORRS: What is your current profession?

Terry: Psychotherapist (that's one word, dammit....)----licensed as Marriage and Family Therapist in 1992. In full-time private practice since 11/04.

PORRS: WOW....Who Knew....Bet you've heard it all.

PORRS: What got you interested in Sim Racing?

Terry: Interested in Motor Racing since 10 years old or so, when mother took me to see "Grand Prix". Been sim-racing since seeing "Indy 500---the Simulation"---then an Accolade PC game (I think) about F1, then into the Indycar series......remember floppy discs?

PORRS: OMG....Seems like so many of us in PORRS can go back to that darn game....Indy 500. Grand Prix is a cool movie.

PORRS: Do you like watching real racing?

Terry: Absolutely! F1 especially, but also others

PORRS: What form of racing do you like best?

Terry: Recently, other than F1, I've been watching the DTM and BTCC on Speed. Always watch the IndyCar series, and often ALMS. Don't care too much about stock cars.

PORRS: Who is your favorite driver(s)?

Terry: Historic---Jackie Stewart, Graham Hill. Current? Hmmm....hard to choose, with all the politics, etc. I think Alonso is amazingly talented, and can't wait to see what he does with a Ferrari.

PORRS: Hmmmm. A Smurf Dude Fan....lol.. Nobody can warm up tires like Alonso...

PORRS: Have you ever been to a racing event?

Terry: Short-track clay oval at Ascot Park when young, also Riverside Int'l, where I saw Can-Am, F5000, and Nascar. Also Ontario Motor Speedway, where California 500s and a non-championship F1 race (1971) were held. I used to take some photos, too. Oh, and Long Beach, but only since Indy-type cars have been there.....I wasn't following racing for a while, in the mid-70s to about 1985.

PORRS: Oh Yes.....I can see we traveled the same track circuit.

PORRS: What other leagues do you compete in?

Terry: Mostly TPTCC---2001 Summer series Champ! Did some offline in GP2 and 3 with LFRS, and some online with GPL and with Michael Heymann's series' some years ago.

PORRS: Oh Yeah...MH...Remember that league fondly....That was fun

PORRS: Who is your favorite Race Announcer  / Team

Terry: The Murray Walker/James Hunt combination is historically the best, and I do like Varsha/Hobbs/Matchett for their perspectives.

PORRS: What is your Favorite type of music?

Terry: Acoustic/Contemporary; songs that convey a story.

PORRS: What is your favorite band(s)

Terry: Long term James Taylor fan, love CSN for harmonies, Austin Lounge Lizards or Phil Ward for humor.

PORRS: What is your favorite adult beverage?

Terry: Coffee----used to be "other stuff" but stopped in 1983

PORRS: Anything you would like to add

Terry: I really enjoy the online camaraderie we have in this league.

PORRS: Thank you Terry for being a sport and allowing your fellow competitors to get to know you.
