Bob Roberson: Driver of the # 30 Team MOMO Porsche Spyder

Currently 6th in the LMP-2 class and Team Principal for Team MOMO

The PORRS crew had some questions for the long time SIM competitor.

PORRS: Besides Sim Racing what do you do to unwind?

Bob: I like to Hike, Fly Fishing and Model Rail Roading

PORRS: Model Railroading, now that's something I haven't done in a long while. Maybe you should shoot us some pictures.

PORRS: What is your current profession?

Bob: Retired....Thank God

PORRS: What got you interested in Sim Racing?

Bob: I've always wanted to be a sportscar driver but not being rich nixed that. And after years of slotcar racing sim racing came along and I've been hooked ever since.

PORRS: Yeah I can relate Bob. Slotcars, R/C Cars and then this.

PORRS: Do you like watching real racing?

Bob: For Sure

PORRS: What form of racing do you like best?

Bob: Sportscars, F1, NASCAR and Motorcycle in that order.

PORRS: Who is your favorite driver(s)?

Bob: Phil Hill, Dan Gurney, Stirling Moss, Mario Andretti amd Fireball Roberts.

PORRS: That's an impressive lineup.

PORRS: Have you ever been to a racing event?

Bob: Yes, Oh Jeez....I can't list them all. For starters, I've only missed three Daytona 24s since it's inception. I've been to Sebring five times. I went to the first F1 race at Indy, been to Charlotte, Rockingham and dozens of Daytona stockcar races.

PORRS: That's spreading it around pretty good :)

PORRS: What other leagues do you compete in?

Bob: TPTCC, MNRL and the old ESRL

PORRS: Who is your favorite Race Announcer  / Team

Bob: I like Hobbs

PORRS: Ahhhhh, Mr Kablamo himself.

PORRS: What is your Favorite type of music?

Bob: Old Fifties Music

PORRS: What is your favorite band(s)

Bob: This will blow your mind. Glenn Miller and I love the Platters. That will tell you how old I am.

PORRS: Wait a minute, don't be so sure about that. That is some good sit down and relaxing music. Give me some Glenn or Tommy and all is good....LOL.

PORRS: Where is your favorite place to eat.

Bob: Any good Italian or Seafood Restaurant.

PORRS: What is your favorite food?

Bob: Fetticini Alfredo, although I will eat anything that doesn't eat me...

PORRS: What is your favorite adult beverage?

Bob: Gin and Tonic, Scotch and Soda and of course Beer
